Match Review 

     On Sunday, November 6, at the Adelaide Oval, Adelaide, Pakistan and Bangladesh played in the 41st match of the Super 12, T20 World Cup, 2022. 

     With the help of Shan Masood's cool head and Shaheen Afridi's four-wicket haul, Pakistan defeated Bangladesh by five wickets to go to the semifinals. Due to South Africa's shocking defeat to the Netherlands earlier in the day, both Bangladesh and Pakistan had a chance to place in the top two, making this matchup essentially a quarterfinal. Pakistan won after a tense chase in which both teams made numerous errors. Below the Netherlands, Bangladesh placed fifth in the group.
